Elle's Pic of the Week

Anybody else wondering, how Mariah went from this...

Mariah @ Grammys?

to this?

Mariah on February 23rd issued of Rolling Stone Magazine.

Don't get it twisted, I am a fan of Photoshop...and I'm not mad at Mariah for getting older and putting on some weight. But just keep it real, baby girl!

It's okay to be thick...don't fake the funk.

Why not keep the illusion going?

Isn't that what entertainment is supposed to do?

She looks great on that new Rolling Stone.

Hi, came in through Jaimie's blog. I am thick myself and at 5'11 I wear it well. I am also a full-figured model along with being an author. Anyway, I agree. We know darn well that MC couldn't have lost all that weight. I believe that her head was pasted on someone else's body. Just like Halle Berry in Catwoman. I was so shocked when I found out that Halle wasn't the one in that suit. She admitted it on Access Hollywood herself. Then again, Halle's never been very thin. She has a cute shape but she's got meat on her bones. Anyway, it goes back to society's image of women. MC is a black woman so she shouldn't have to fall into this trap of what others fall into. Also, she's been in the game long enough to refuse such treatment as alterations to her body on mag covers. Then again, she is probably all for anything that makes her look thin. I just hope this extra weight makes her cover up because she's always dressed like a slut.

if that's an old pic, then it's from her days when "Butterfly" came out...

I wish she would dress better too stacy-deanne...I mean really - there is a difference between classy and just stank... And as my roomate pointed out, she always looks like she's rocking a "Jessica McClintock" dresses from Macys.

I used to love love love Mariah - now I'm like, what happened?

will never forget the all-star game with her in the Jordan dress. Talk about the best of both worlds...

seeing a single magazine issue take about 7 months to produce, i'm guessing that the rolling stone pic is much, much older than the grammy appearance.
