my grandmother was in love with him (being that my grandfather left her and all (another story for another day)) and I called her and told her today.
She was really sad and almost started crying, then said "thank you baby, I'mma go now, Granny loves you." I was like dag, Lou was REALLY that dude.

Lou Rawls certainly will be missed, such a great singer, entertainer, etc. And yeah Elle, it was cool of Lou to be so involved with the UNCF.
He made a lot of great music but I'm probably partial to those first three albums he made for Philadelphia International, such a great sound...
